Bobbie’s Obituary Bobbie Jean Myers, 54, of Lafayette, LA departed this world on January 16, 2019 surrounded by her daughter, brother, granddaughter and niece in her daughter’s home. Bobbie was born in St. Martinville, LA to Lawrence and Mary Louise Savoy. She attended St. Martinville Senior High and graduated in 1982.

She worked as a Patient Access Rep. Team Lead for Lafayette General Medical Center for the past 6 years. She enjoyed traveling to some of her favorite places such as California, Hawaii, Texas and the Dominican Republic.

She also loved to gamble so going to the casino was one of her favorite pass times. Bobbie is survived by her daughter Danielle Savoy of Lafayette, LA her son Manielle Savoy of Baton Rouge, LA her grandchildren Ariana Savoy, Taylor Bursh, Rhett Miller, Dai’ja Grimes, Dorie Thomas and her Great grandson Carson Savoy and unborn granddaughter Dakota Savoy her brothers George(Julia)Savoy of Temecula, CA Lawrence Ceaser Savoy of Lafayette, LA her Sisters Sylvia Savoy of St. Martinville, LA Cynthia Willis of St. Martinville, LA Simone(Reggie)Bowens of Hampton, VA Her father Lawrence J. Savoy of St. Martinville, LA her Nieces Lashaundra Savoy, LaTasha Savoy, Precilla Willis and Kelly(Lendl) Lyles. Her Nephews Tori (Lorie) Savoy, Eric Simon Savoy, Jason Willis,& Albert Willis, and a list of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Mother Mary Louise Savoy and grandparents, aunts and uncles that have passed on and her godson and nephew Jacoby Willis My mother had a lot of family and friends and her final wishes was that she be cremated and no service or repass to follow. I as her daughter am respecting her last wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Acadiana, or The American Cancer Society in the name of Bobbie Jean Myers.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank all of you that have prayed, called, text, and visited during this difficult time.
