Obituary of Bobby Lowe Bobby Darryl Lowe, 67, of Bear Creek died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at UNC Hospice, Pittsboro. Mr. Lowe was born October 8, 1950, in Chatham County, the son of Bob and Geneva (Phillips) Lowe. Darryl was employed as a Supervisor with A-1 Builders of Chatham, and formerly employed with Hart Furniture Company, L. P. Cox Company and Charles Craft.

He grew up in the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. Darryl loved to hunt, plant sunflowers and was always doing pranks. He was a 1968 raduate of Chatham Central High School.

He was preceded in death by his mother, infant brother, and brother, Ronnie D. Lowe. Darryl is survived by his daughter: Lisa Lowe of Graham, who was his pride and joy; father, Bob Lowe of Bear Creek, sister, Cheryl L. Poe and husband, Michael of Bear Creek; nieces, Michelle Dixon (Josh), Melissa Lowe (Nick) and Rebecca Poe; nephew, Jason Lowe; great nieces, Samantha and Haley; his beloved canine, Cuddles; and special friend, Annette Inman. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 17721 NC Hwy 902, Bear Creek.

The funeral service will follow Tuesday at 3:00 PM with Rev. Darrell Garner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Afterwards the family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Baptist Church or to UNC Hospice, P O Box 1077, Pittsboro, NC 27312. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the Lowe Family.
