Candace Lizette Waldron, 53, of Columbus, formerly of Parkersburg, passed away from an extended illness, June 10, 2018 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. Candace was born on June 3, 1965 in Parkersburg and was the daughter of Wilma J. Eaton Starcher and the late Calvin E. Waldron. Candace worked as a Site Manager for EXCEL from 1986 – 2007.
she transferred from Parkersburg to Columbus and worked and raised her family there. She was always very involved in her church, up until the time of her illness restricted her from attending services. She continued her walk with the Lord until the end.
Her passion was cooking for her girls, family and friends. She always prepared enough food to feed an army. Candace loved cats and we often teased her that she too must have had the nine lives of a cat for all the times she was near death and pulled through for all of us to share a few more years with her.
She had cats from childhood up until her passing. Candace always supported her family. She loved all of us unconditionally.
She lived for her two girls and was always concerned about leaving this earth for her Heavenly Home before they were raised. Candace had the kindest, most compassionate heart, always reaching out to help others less fortunate and in need. Her health kept her from doing a lot of things she enjoyed doing for so many years, but she never complained and kept a positive attitude.
Sis your will surely be missed and will leave us with many wonderful memories to remember you by and to help us to get through this difficult time. Until we meet again in Heaven we all love you and will miss you, your family. In addition to her mother, Candace is survived by her two daughters Hayaley Wooding, Natori Washington, brothers Chris Waldron (Marcella), Cliff Waldron (Terri), sisters Camille Waldron, Celeste Ridgway (Rick), longtime friend and co-worker Dave sowers and other extended family and friends.
