Carl W. Dahl September 03, 1927 – December 31, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Carl W. Dahl, 91, of E. South St., Corry, Pa. , died Monday, December 31, 2018, at his home. He was born September 3, 1927 in Corry, Pa.

, a son of the late Clyde and Fern Hunt Dahl. Carl was raised and educated in Corry, graduating from Corry High School in 1945. He then worked at General Electric and also attended night school there for two years, studying engineering.

In the mid 1950’s, Carl began working at Ajax Iron Works (Cooper Energy Services), as a draftsman in the Engineering Department. He retired from there in 1987 after 31years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Corry and was a 50 year member and Past Master of the Corry Lodge #365 Free & Accepted Masons.

Carl was active in the Senior Men’s bowling league. He enjoyed bowling, traveling and watching baseball. Over the years, Carl had visited over 20 major league baseball stadiums.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by a son, Randall C. “Randy” Dahl and a brother, Edwin Dahl. Carl is survived by his wife, Florence Brooks Dahl, whom he married November 4, 1961 in Corry, Pa. ; a daughter, Brenda Flores of Pittsburgh, Pa.

; two sons, Bradley Dahl and his wife Donna of Hoover, Al. , and Stephen Dahl of Santo Domingo , Dominican Republic; and a brother, Milton Dahl of Corry, Pa. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Allison, Andrew and Daniela; three great-grandchildren, Leo, Elisa and Skyla; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call at the First United Methodist Church, 650 Worth St., Corry, Pa. , on Saturday from 10 am until the time of the funeral service there at 11 am. Rev.

Jonathan Fehl will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, Pa. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 650 Worth St., Corry, PA.
