Carol Marie Perugini May 20, 1932 – March 19, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book WATERBURY Carol Marie Perugini “Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister & aunt” Carol Marie (Watterworth) Perugini, 86, of Waterbury was reunited with her husband in heaven on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Waterbury Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest S. Perugini. Carol was born May 20, 1932 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Harold F. and Emma M. (Herrr) Watterworth.

She loved to knit blankets, faithfully pray for her family and enjoyed leading in the rosary at the convalescent home. Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Catherine Katz and her husband Kenneth of Simsbury, Marlene Albini and her husband Aldo of Wolcott, Donna Brilla of Southington, Cheryl Power and her husband Bruce of Dillon, MT, David E. Perugini of Palm Harbor, FL and Mary Keenan and her husband David of Whitefield, ME. She also leaves behind her brother Donald Watterworth and his wife Patricia of Middlebury, her sisters, Winifred Saginario of Watertown, Kristine Watterworth of Preston, Corinne Watterworth of Southington, her thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Watterworth and Harold Watterworth Jr. and a sister, Virginia Wagner. The family would like to sincerely thank the entire staff of Mattatuck Health Care Center, especially Linda Gilchrist, for the excellent care and compassion given to Carol during her stay. Arrangements: A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT.

Burial will follow at Old Saint Joseph Cemetery in Waterbury.
