Catherine E. “Kitty” Savage, 92, of McHenry, MD went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 25, 2019, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, MD. Born April 16, 1926, in Altamont, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Carrie (Lee) Wright. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Earl C. Savage.

Catherine is survived by three daughters, Connie Henline and husband, Neil, of Brunswick, OH; Donna Wagner and husband, Dale, of Oakland, MD; Kathy Lawson of Cardale, PA; one son, Lanny Savage and wife, Judy, of Mount Airy, MD; six grandchildren, Kendra Thayer and husband, Edward; Jill Takis and husband, Joshua; Gregory Savage and wife, Nichole; Carrie Johns; Neil Henline, Jr. and wife, Paige; Adam Lawson; eleven great-grandchildren, Jessica and Madison Thayer; Jaxon Takis; Alexis, Trinity, and Mia Savage; Grace and Lawson Henline; Brook, Dakota, and McKenzie Lawson. Catherine was preceded in death by her seven siblings, Orland Wright; Charles Wright; Lyle Wright; Iona Rodeheaver; Geraldine Rodeheaver; Leona Savage; Grace Bateman; twin grandsons, Jason and Mark Lawson, Jr. Funeral services were held Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Drive, Oakland, MD 21550, with Reverend Ross Glotfelty officiating. Interment was in the Garrett Memorial Gardens, Oakland.
