Obituary for Colleen Brammer (Lydon) Colleen E. (Lydon) Brammer, 57, of Grand Island passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at her home. Services are pending. Colleen was born on January 29, 1961 in Miami, FL, daughter of Michael Lydon.

She is survived by her children, Tabitha (Steven) Scott of Grand Island, Kevin (Izzy) Gracey of TX; brothers, Brian Lydon of TN, Michael Lydon of KS, and Kelly Lydon of FL; sisters, Lisa Marie Phillips, Cheryl Parfrey, and Shelia Laramee; granddaughters, Phenix, Raeven, Willow, Leilani, Avery and Tina; dear friend, Mike Troxel of Grand Island; along with extended family and friends. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, and stepmother, Everline Lydon. Colleen was raised and received her education in Florida, she graduated from Carol City.

For over 20 years she was employed by the Department of Health and Human Services in Omaha. She began her employment as a clerk, by the time she retired she had share her care and love with families as a case worker. In 2006, Colleen was ready for a change, she decided to make Grand Island her home.

Along with her daughter and family they moved to Nebraska. Having grown up in Florida, Colleen loved the beach and wanted to return home. She was known for her radiant smile that would light up a room no matter what she was battling within.

Colleen had an extensive collection of pig figurines and even painted a few of them herself. She adored her cats and always had a few with her. Even throughout her lifelong struggle with mental illness, Colleen loved her family and cherished the time spent with them.
