Obituary for Daniel M. Ahsaf Daniel M. Ahsaf, a former Brentwood resident, entered into rest on March 4, 2018 with his family by his side at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, Castle Point Campus. He was 88 years old. Daniel was born in Brooklyn on July 9, 1929 the son of the late Mohammed and Pauline Vlcek Ahsaf.

Daniel proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Independent Order of Foresters in Bayshore. Daniel is survived by his wife, Elsa Ahsaf; his daughters, Sandra Pluta and her husband, John, Veronica Kelly and Cathryn Ahsaf; his grandchildren, Amanda Wozny and her husband, Joe, Randi Jolliff, Daniel Jolliff and Sara Ratowski; his great grandchildren, Ryan and Olivia Wozny; his siblings, Pauline Assaff, Helen Marquez and John Ahsaf; numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 9 at 1 p.m. at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, New York. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Patrick J.
