David Allan Browne March 01, 1959 – February 23, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book Waterbury, CT David Allan Browne “Loving husband, father, son and brother” David Allan Browne, age 59, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully February 23, 2019 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Elisabeth “Lisa” (Diringer) Browne of 12 years. David was born March 1, 1959 in Holyoke, MA, a son of Robert F. and Angelina (Rocco) Browne.

He was a graduate of The Foundation High School. He was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic and was a member of the IUOE Local 478. David was an avid Harley-Davidson fan and enjoyed fishing.

He was a member of the Mattatuck Drum Band. Besides his wife of Waterbury and parents of Oakville, he leaves one son, Thomas P. Diringer and his wife, Patricia of Waterbury, one daughter, Sarah Hatcher and her husband, Aaron of Waterbury, two grandchildren, Thomas P. Diringer, Jr. and Ezrah Hatcher both of Waterbury, one brother, Robert J. Browne and his wife, Antoinette of Sarasota FL, one sister, Mary Anne Bonin and her husband, Robert of Wethersfield, two nieces, Elizabeth Dowdy and Bobbi-Jo Browne and one nephew, Steven Dowdy. Arrangements: His funeral service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT.

Burial will follow at the Woodtick Cemetery in Wolcott. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David’s name to: The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center 1075 Chase Parkway Waterbury, CT 06708.
