Virginia Theresa Theriault September 27, 1926 – February 03, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book WOLCOTT VIRGINIA THERESA THERIAULT “Loving mother and grandmother” Virginia Theresa Theriault age 92 of Wolcott, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 3, 2019 Wolcott View Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was the loving widow of Charles L. Theriault. Virginia was born September 27, 1926 in Oxford, a daughter of the late Edward and Elmire (Pelletier) Ivon.

She was a graduate of Wilby High School and earned her associate’s degree at Post University. Prior to her retirement, Virginia was employed as a secretary at Uniroyal. She was a communicant of Saint Pius X Church in Wolcott.

After surviving polio as a four year old, she learned to walk again and never let anything stop her from accomplishing anything in her life. Gin was an amazing pie maker, knitter and was an accomplished musician and singer. She leaves two daughters Betsy Brown of Columbus, OH, Janice Pulford and her husband Steven of Wolcott, her grandchildren Emily Brown of Middletown, Kristen Pulford of Cumberland, RI, and Jessica and Kyle Pulford of Waterbury.

She was predeceased by her brothers Norman Ivon, Homer “Bud” Ivon, Alan Ivon and her sister Jean Brennan. Arrangements: Funeral Monday February 11, 2019 at 9:30 am at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral home, 430 Chase Parkway, Wtby. Burial of cremains will follow in Colonel Raymond F. Gates Cemetery, 392 West Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
