Lawrence L. Flowers June 27, 1943 – February 04, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book WATERBURY LAWRENCE L. FLOWERS “Loving husband, father and grandfather” Lawrence L. Flowers, age 75, of Waterbury and Prince Edward Island, Canada passed away February 4, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Sharon (Collette) Flowers. Larry was born June 27, 1943 in Waterbury, son of the late Viola (Masone) Flowers.

Besides his loving wife of 52 years he leaves his sons; Michael Flowers and his wife Evelinda of St. Augustine FL, David Flowers and his wife Michele of Waterbury, a daughter Caryn Stellmach and her husband Matthew of Waterbury, his brother Thomas Flowers and Carol Joyce of Milford, his grandchildren Marisa, Elise and Viola Flowers and Nathan and Trevor Stellmach. He was predeceased by a son Paul Flowers. He also leaves behind brother and sister-in-laws Dennis and Lynn Collette, Richard and Sheila Collette, Wayne and Kim Collette, Larry and Marian Petruff, many nieces and nephews, as well as his PEI family; Tyler Larter and family, Chuck Stevenson and family, Preston and Martha Ellis and family, Bethany Holland, Robbie and Kellie Larter and family and Duke and Carol Larter.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sabbath, the Leever Center staff, the infusion center staff at St. Mary’s hospital and Dr. John Mascarenhas of Mount Sinai Hospital New York City where Mr. Flowers participated in clinical trials and organ donations for further advancement in myelofibrosis research. Arrangements: In accordance with Larry’s wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours.

Chase Parkway Memorial, The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with handling Lawrence’s funeral arrangements.
