Jessie Lubinski January 19, 1940 – February 17, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book Waterbury, CT Jessie Lomando Lubinski “Beloved mother, grandmother & great-grandmother” Mrs. Jessie (Leo) Lomando Lubinski, 79, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the VITAS Inpatient Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her loving children. She was the loving wife of the late August Emil Lomando who passed away in 1992. Jessie was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 19, 1940, daughter of the late Michael and Eleanor (Langone) Leo.

She was employed at BMI Inc. in Thomaston until her retirement in 2009. Jessie enjoyed playing cards especially setback. Crocheting and knitting were her favorite hobbies.

She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church. Jessie leaves her five children, Ralph R. (Maureen) Lomando, Sr. of Waterbury, Eleanor (Tim) McQuillan of Delta, OH, MaryAnn (Ed) Farina of Lumberton, NC, Michael (Debbie) Lomando of Waterbury and Theresa (Joe) Solla of Cheshire, her brother, Rocco Leo of Meriden, nine grandchildren, Edward Farina, Jr., Ralph (Jessie) Lomando, Jr. Robert Farina, Laura (Kim) Carlone, TJ McQuillan, Jr., Michael Lomando, Joey Solla, Nicholas Lomando and Vinnie Solla and nine great-grandchildren.

Arrangements: Funeral will be held on Thursday, February, 21, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT to St. Francis Xavier Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
