David D. Findley, 54 of Grand Island died Sunday, March 10, 2019 following a courageous battle with cancer. Services will be 10:30 AM Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate.

Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before service time. Dave was born March 6, 1965 in Grand Island, the son of Donald and Ahlene (Wiese) Findley.

He was raised and received his education in Grand Island. During the past 14 years, Dave was employed by Mid Nebraska Disposal. Some of his enjoyments included fishing, Sturgis and time spent with his four grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two sons, Ryan (Carrie) Findley and Nathan Findley both of Kearney; grandchildren, Kira, Carter, Declan and Hazel; sister, Janna (Kasey) Wessels of Aurora; half-sister, Nancey Cadwalader of Grand Island; brothers, Randy (Wendy) Findley of Giltner, Darren (Jackie) Findley of St. Libory and Ronnie Findley of St. Libory; half-brother, Doug Findley of Grand Island and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Kevin Findley. A memorial fund will be established in Dave’s memory.
