Bryan “Grumpy” Wilson, 56, of Grand Island died Thursday, February 28, 2019 at CHI-Health St. Francis. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5th at 11 am, at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate.

Per Bryan’s wishes, casual attire is requested. Bryan was born on February 12, 1963 in Grand Island to Ron and Verla Mae (Brundage) Owings. He is a member of the graduating class of 1980 from Grand Island Northwest High School.

On May 4, 2012, Bryan married the love of his life, Jean Panowicz Wichman. Bryan has spent the better part of the last decade working for Too Fast Supply as a tool technician. When he wasn’t at work, he enjoyed Nascar, the horse races, and playing Keno.

His favorite hobby by far, was being grumpy and sarcastic. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jean; children, Tyler Hawkins, Mykel (Sarah) Wilson, Kelsey Wilson, Cody (Destiny) Wilson; step-daughters, Nicole (Shane) Lucas, Megan Wichman (Tyler Martian); grandchildren, Calvin and Theodore Lucas; siblings, Allen (Diane), Lanette, Robin; his brother from another mother, Shawn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bryan was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, LaDonna.
