Roger W. Anderson, 71 of Grand Island died, Tuesday, February 26, 2019. To honor Roger’s wishes cremation will take place. Private family celebration of life service will take place at a later time.

All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Roger was born April 20, 1947 at Stromsburg, NE the son of Lawrence and Lillian (Wagner) Anderson. He was raised in Grand Island graduating from Grand Island Senior High class of 1965.

He served in the U.S. Navy from January 5, 1968 and honorably discharged on March 9, 1971. Following his military service, Roger attended and graduated from Kearney State College. He married Mary Beth Cunningham in 1974.

Roger retired from the US Postal Service-Grand Island in 2007. Some of his enjoyments included watching game shows, old westerns and sports. He also loved animals.

Survivors are his sister, Peggy (Don) Young of Grand Island and a nephew, Mitchell (Stephanie) Young of Omaha. He is preceded in death by his parents. Online condolences may be sent to www.
