Maria Guadalupe Sanchez de Valencia, 39, of Grand Island passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019, following a long battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at All Faiths Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Cathedral.

Father Jim Golka is the celebrant. Maria was loved by many and always brought so much joy to her family’s lives. She was the life of the party and will be dearly missed.

Those who will cherish her memory include her children, Ayli Sanchez, Betzy Corrales, Mirka Corrales and Alex Sanchez; parents; Julio and Bertha Sanchez; sister, Margarita Cabrera and brother, Julio Sanchez Jr She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Maria de los Angeles Beltran and sister, Maria de Jesus Sanchez Neito. Memorials are suggested to Maria’s family.
