Obituary for David “Dave” Lee Cunningham David “Dave” Lee Cunningham, age 60, a long time resident of Taunton Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on July 16th 2018, at Morton Hospital, in Taunton, Ma. David was born on May 8th, 1958, to Irlene and Walter Cunningham in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a wonderful man, someone who would welcome anyone in with open arms.

He spent many years working hard for his family as a truck driver. His pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren play.

David enjoyed watching his basketball and football games with his family, as well as, listening to music. David enjoyed taking long drives during warm spring and summer days. David is survived by his sons David Bradsher of Burlington N.C, Emanuel Cunningham and his wife Barbara Cunningham of Taunton Ma, Wardell Cunningham and his wife Carey Cunningham of Taunton Ma, Elijah Cunningham and his significant other Genelle Wilkerson of Taunton.

His grandchildren Tajae, Jajwon, Jamari, Fernil, Lucas, Malkiah, Neicya, Thomas, Janessah, Devan, Xaviar, and Emanuel Jr., as well as, his brothers Edward Jackson, Horace Cunningham and his wife Patrice Cunningham, Emanuel Cunningham and his wife Shunta Allen and his sisters Katienell Shelton, Julia, Theresa, Angela and Sandra Cunningham. As well as his ex wife Leasa Mitchell-Cunningham and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. David was preceded by both his mother Irene and father Walter Cunningham.

Brothers Robert Jackson and Walterlee Cunningham. Sisters Irlene Jackson and Janice Cunningham. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 4-6pm, in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave.

, Taunton, followed by his prayer service at 6:00pm, conducted by Pastor Charles Hightower from Baptist Church of Nation. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation or The Colorectal Cancer Association of America in memory of David.
