Deborah Ann “Deb” Bergman, 59, of Grand Island passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Service and celebration of Deb’s life will be 10:30 am Wednesday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Deb was born June 21, 1959 in Grand Island, the daughter of Johnnie and Nancy (Harder) Bruns. She attended school in Aurora and graduated from Grand Island Senior High. On August 17, 1992, she married Daniel Bergman.

She was a cook at Aurora Public Schools for many years. For the last twelve years Deb has been employed at Island Pet Resort. A wonderful wife and mother, Deb was an excellent cook, making dishes her family will remember.

Always active, she enjoyed camping, boating, and motorcycle rides. She also enjoyed crocheting and loved hanging out with her dogs. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Dan; children, Michael Clark of Central City, Rodney Clark of Cairo and Lisalynn Bergman of Kearney; parents, Johnnie and Nancy Bruns; granddaughter, Makala Clark; and great-grandchildren; Kalianna and Gauge Sliger; brother, Dennis Bruns of Grand Island; sister, Denise (Scott) Shafer of Grand Island; nieces and nephew; and her beloved four-legged pets, Spalding, Jazz, Toby and Stormy.

She was preceded by grandparents, Edwin and Myrtle Bruns and Gilbert and Lucile Harder; sister, Ann Bruns; and cousin, Danny Bruns.
