Obituary for Earl Howard Deskins Earl Howard Deskins, 68, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at his home. He was born November 16, 1949 in McDowell County, West Virginia to Ira Howard and Sylvia Davis Deskins. He worked for M & W Windows.

He attended Clearview Gospel Mission, where he served as assistant pastor and deacon. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He served in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dean Deskins. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Lester Deskins; daughter, Rhonda Barrett (Gene); son, Keith Dewayne Hagerman; sisters, Connie Deskins and Joan Rose; brothers, Ronald Deskins, Ira Lee Deskins, Eldon Deskins, and Michael Deskins; grandchildren, Christian Barrett, Corey Barrett, and Earl Michael Hagerman. The funeral will be Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Wright Funeral Service Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Susan Adkins officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
