Obituary for James “Bubba” Parker James “Bubba” Parker, 70, of Martinsville, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018. He was born July 28, 1947 in South Carolina to the late James and Dora Jackson Parker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Phenia Hudson; and brother, Robert L. Parker.

Mr. Parker was a member of the Agape Bible Christian Fellowship where he was the coordinator of the Transportation Ministry. He enjoyed fishing, browsing the internet, and motorcycles. He retired from the Henry County Public Schools where he was a bus driver.

Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, Faye Foster Parker; daughters, Tammy Renea Martin, Senovia M. O’Neil (Cleophus), Lolita Hodge (Carl), and Connie Hairston (Quince); son, Terrill Jermaine Parker (Aleshia); sisters, Ethel Dumas, Reba O’Pere, and Annie Murphy; brother, Willie L. Parker; fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchilren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Friday, April 20th, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Greater Love Ministries with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at .
