Obituary for George Washington Belcher George Washington “Pickle” Belcher, Jr., 56, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Danville Memorial Hospital. He was born January 2, 1962 in Martinsville, Virginia to the late George and Mary Belcher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Quilla Mae Belcher, step-brother, Jessie Reid Watkins, and step-sister, Barbara Willis.

George attended Martinsville City schools. He is survived by his wife, Diane Belcher of Danville, Virginia; three sons, Jarrod (Kristal) Craig of Hampton, Virginia, Hasan Craig of Lake Wales, Florida, and SSGT. Keenan Belcher of Fort Riley, Kansas; two daughters, Ericka and Jazma Hairston of Reston, Virginia; three step-brothers, Harry Watkins, Dana (Feebie) Hairston, James (Linda) Hairston, all of Martinsville, Virginia; three step-sisters, Mary (Louis) Prittchett, Doris Murdough of Martinsville, and Virginia Moore of Winston Salem, North Carolina.

The memorial service will be Saturday, June 2, 2018, at 3:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family. On Line condolences may be made at www.
