Obituary for Latonia Williams Latonia Williams, 84, of Martinsville, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. She was born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia on September 13, 1933 to the late Irving and Hilda Witcher. In addition to her parents, Ms. Williams was preceded in death by her son, Mikal Saleem and a sister, Myrtle F. Carter.

Latonia is survived by three granddaughters, Alyasha Williams of Martinsville, Khaleah Saleem and Naeemah Alearenga, both of New Jersey; four brothers, Ezekiel Witcher, Jr. (Vickie), Charles Witcher (Faye), and Mark Witcher (Gloria), all of Martinsville, and Willie Witcher (Rosa) of Richmond, Virginia; six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at 12:00 PM, at Refuge Temple Holiness Church with Elder Alan Preston officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes before the service.
