Earl E. Brown, 55, of St. Louis, Missouri and formerly of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 4:47 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born June 1, 1963 in Fagus, Missouri, a son of Josie Marie (Farris) Brown of Granite City and the late Earl Dine Brown. He worked as a baker with Schnucks and Haas Bakery.

He loved the outdoors and enjoyed his days fishing. He also enjoyed tinkering with small engine repair and lawn mowers and was a member of Calvary Life Church in Granite City. In addition to his beloved mother, he is survived by his wife, Donna (Smith) Brown of Granite City; his daughter, Samantha Brown of Granite City; two brothers, Claude Dean Brown of Granite City and Daniel Brown of St. Louis; two sisters, Patricia Lawrence of Granite City and Joan Connell of Smithton, Illinois; numerous nieces; nephews; other extended family and many friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Erica Brown; a brother, David Brown and grandparents, Iva and Wallace Farris. In celebration of life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Maynard officiating. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Foundation and may be accepted at the funeral home.
