Emma’s Obituary Emma Louise Henning, of Perkasie and formerly of Montgomery Twp. , PA, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 18, 2019 at her home. She was 90.

She was the wife of the late Paul L. “Bill” Henning, Sr. who passed away on April 18, 2014. Born in East Norriton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Vera (Matz) Hoser. Mrs. Henning was a 1945 graduate of Norristown High School.

She went on to graduate from Pierce Business School. She and her husband owned and operated Wampole Electric Inc. Hilltown, installing and maintaining traffic lights for over 8 years. Prior to that, she was employed by American Electronic Laboratories, Montgomeryville, PA as a secretary.

Her main passion in life was horses. She and her husband bred and raised thoroughbred race horses from 1952 to 1998. She also enjoyed quilting and tending to her rose garden.

She was a former long-time member of the Church of the Open Door, Fort Washington, PA, and most recently attended Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Ann Matyszczak and her husband Joseph, of North Wales, PA and Robyn L. Henning, of Perkasie, PA; two grandsons, Matthew Christopher Matyszczak and his finance Rachel Reisler and Tyler Daniel Matyszczak. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul L. “Billy” Henning, Jr. on November 11, 1975, a brother, Kenneth Hoser and a sister, Thelma Snyder.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, Perkasie, CE Building, 1600 North Fifth Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 11:30 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.
