Obituary of Grace Gould Grace E. Gould, 82, of Jamestown passed away Thursday (June 7, 2018) at UPMC Chautauqua/WCA Hospital. She was born February 9, 1936 in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of late Howard and Dorothy Lyon. Grace was a 1955 graduate of Jamestown High School and prior to retirement was employed with Staff Builders.

During retirement Grace was employed by the Frewsburg Rest Home as a care aid. Grace enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, crocheting and playing bingo. She was a member of the Busti Church of God as well as Jamestown Moose Club-1681.

Surviving are her children Richard A. Shaver Jr. of Bemus Point, NY, Cherrie (Jack) Clark of Bemus Point, NY, Ann Marie Kennedy of Jamestown, NY; step children Cindy (Ray) Blose of Randolph, NY, Brian (Donna) Adelgren of Kiantone, NY, Sharon (Rick) Covert of Westfield, NY; 22 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Grace was preceded in death by her ex-husband Gary Gould; companion Gerald Adelgren; two brothers Howard J. Lyon, Lavern E. Lyon; a step daughter Teresa Ryan, a grandson T.J. Blose, a great grandson Austin Smith and a nephew Richard Lyon. The family will have a celebration of Grace’s life Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Jamestown Moose Lodge 1681, 405 E. Fifth St. Jamestown, NY.
