Obituary for Helen Strick (Panek) Helen Elizabeth Strick August 21, 1917 – September 2, 2018 Age 101 of Dearborn Heights and Brighton, MI, passed away to be with the Lord while surrounded by her family. She was the eldest and dear sister of the late Stella (Jack) Chantres and the late Walter (Louise) Panek. Helen was born to John and Anastasia (Cwik) Panek.

She loved quilting, bingo and card games. Helen also enjoyed spending time with Jim Zabawski. Helen is survived by her daughters: Sylvia (Len) Krauter and Mary Anne (Ted) Twigg; grandchildren: Julie Zabawski, Brian Krauter, Craig (Colleen) Krauter, Carl (Christine) Twigg and Jeffery (Elena) Twigg; great grandchildren: Hilary and James Zabawski; great grand dogs: Leo and Minnie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Keehn Funeral Home, Brighton, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 7, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Brighton at 10:30 A.M. celebrated by Rev. Fr.

Mathias Thelen. Friends may visit at the church on Friday beginning at 9:30 A.M. Entombment will be at St. Hedwig Cemetery and Mausoleum, Dearborn Heights, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
