Obituary for Jean C Hair Kingsport- Jean C. Hair, 78 gained her Angel Wings surrounded by her loving family on Thursday December 27, 2018 at Life Care Center of Gray. Mrs. Hair was born in Petersburg Va. and had lived in Kingsport most of her life.

She was a member of Orebank Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Hair was preceded in death by her parents Admiral and Virginia Lambert, her loving husband of 54 years Thomas L. Hair, and her precious dogs Candy and Pebbles. She is survived by her loving children: Thomas Hair Jr. and wife Terry, Rhonda Cutshaw and husband Steve, Haley Fields and husband Walter.

Grandchildren: Amber Hair (raised by her grandparents), Aaron Ewing, Niki Cutshaw, and Stephanie Tweed. Four Great-Grandchildren. Sisters and brother: Dorothy Duncan, Donald Lambert, and Brenda Ratliff.

Several Nieces and Nephews and her Special Granddaughter Kayla Carrier and husband Clayton. She is also survived by her sweet fur companion Annie. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at East Tennessee Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 PM with a funeral service to follow with Pastor David Foster officiating.

Mrs. Hair will be laid to rest beside her precious husband on Monday, December 31, 2018 in the East Tennessee Cemetery Garden of Solomon at 2:00 PM. Special thanks to the nursing staff and faculty of Life Care Center of Gray and Caris Hospice for the loving care and compassion shown. Also thanks to her special friend Dorthea Wilson.
