Justin Harold White age 22, of Raven, Virginia passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in a Richlands, Virginia hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born in Abingdon, Virginia and was the son of Claude B. White and the late Sondra Jean McCoy White. He was a graduate of Richlands High School Class of 2014.

Justin was a walking miracle, God sent him to show love, kindness and sweetness to everyone he met. Justin was a member of the Good Shepard Catholic Church in Lebanon and attended the Calvary Temple. He never knew a stranger and loved meeting new friends.

As a child he was diagnosed with Dannon’s Disease Lamp2, he was the youngest male ever diagnosed and the longest living male with this disease. He accomplished more than the doctors ever told him he would be able to do. Justin enjoyed spending time gaming as this was the only activity, he could participate in.

Zombie Walks were held in his honor to help raise money for Duke University Hospital and a future Zombie Walk will be held as a Memorial in his honor. Justin was a lifetime resident of the area and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his brother, Dustin Waylon White; grandmother Jo Edith Stevens; and his beloved canine companion, Scooby.

Those who remain to carry on his spirit are his: Loving wife, Tivia Nicole Boardwine White of Raven, VA Daughter, Lily Jean White of Cedar Bluff, VA Father, Claude B. White of Cedar Bluff, VA Brother, Austin Jay White of Cedar Bluff, VA Sister, Chloe Ember White of Cedar Bluff, VA Grandparents, Mary Ann Pelissero McCoy and Jay Randolph Special thanks for the care given to Justin by Duke University Children’s Hospital, Dr. Michael Carbonie and Dr. Kintor. The graveside service for Justin Harold White will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Claypool Hill, Virginia with the Minister Cory Royal officiating. Entombment will follow.

Pallbearers will be Austin White, Caleb Holmes, Bradley Cordle, Mark Rutherford, Willie Rutherford, Chuck Culbertson, Trevor Smith and Jayson McCoy.
