Mary E. (Leite) Medeiros, 98 beloved wife of George Medeiros passed away on April 20, 2018 at the Taunton Nursing Home from a lengthy illness. Born in Taunton on October 24, 1919 she was daughter of Jaime Leite and Evangeline (Pimental) Leite, She was a lifelong resident of the City of Taunton and was educated within the Taunton schools. She was employed by Rennie Curtain Company of Taunton for many years and was a communicant of Saint Andrew of the Apostle Church.

She was a loving wife and mother, grandmother and sister. She was an accomplished cook, and her pride and joy was her family. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Gauthier of Lakeville and Nancy Leanues of Taunton.

She leaves four grandchildren Angela (Gauthier) Quintiliani of Sandown, NH, Suzanne Gauthier of Middleboro, David Leanues-Medeiros of Falmouth and Jennifer Botelho of Taunton; 5 great-grandchildren and sister Madeline Coelho of Raynham. She was also the sister of the late Rose Perry, Alice Cazemiro, Florence Bowers and Evangeline Benoit Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St., Lakeville, MA followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Sts. Martha and Mary Church in Lakeville, MA.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton. In lieu of flowers Donations may be given to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or by visiting www. stjude.org/memorialgifts .
