Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Hazel Doss Mary Elizabeth Hazel Doss, 83 of Charleston passed away Friday, September 28, 2018. She was born in Matewan to the late Walter and Mae Davis Waddell. She also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Doss, Sr. and a daughter, Rebecca Sue Crary; son, Bobby L. Doss, Jr; sister, Margaret White; brothers, Marion, Floyd, Walter Jr, Gene and John Waddell.

She retired from Carver Career Center with 40 years of service. Mary hobbies was crafting, making wreaths, crocheting flower girl dresses, making Christmas candy and decorating for the holidays, shopping, playing cards with her sisters and most importantly spending time with her family. She enjoyed the beach and spending time with her daughter Teresa in South Carolina.

Surviving are her daughters, Debbie Rectenwald (John) of Cross Lanes and Teresa Willis (Bill) of Bluffton, SC; sister, Ruth Meade of Iowa; daughter-in-law, Kathy of Charleston. Also surviving are her loving grandchildren, Jessica, John Kenneth, Joshua, Ryan, Ashley, Justin, Sean, Brittany, Kelly, Kara and 10 great grandchildren and her fur babies, Molly and Foxy Lady Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans with Pastor Kent Estep officiating. Entombment will be in Cunningham Memorial Park Mausoleum, St. Albans.
