Michael’s Obituary Michael Maurer, age 52, of Pennsburg, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Born August 11, 1966 in Abington, he was a son of the late Richard W. and Rose Ann Maurer. Raised in Furlong, He was a 1985 graduate of Central Bucks High School East & Central Bucks Vo Technical School Mike was known as being a hard worker.

He was employed with Allentown KIA. of Allentown. Former employers included Harris Oldsmobile of Lansdale, Heritage Chevrolet of Doylestown, and Fred Beans Chevrolet of Doylestown.

Mike enjoyed raising his kids. His love and devotion to his children was his priority in life. He was a big NASCAR fan, with fond memories of attending events with his children.

He enjoyed anything to do with Automobiles. This included his love of collecting and rebuilding MOPAR muscle cars from the 70’s. There are people who seem to be able to fix anything.

Mike was one of them. Nothing seemed to intimidate him – Automobiles, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing – I don’t remember presenting him with a problem he couldn’t fix. Over the years, he has endeared himself to many as a handyman and loyal friend He is survived by his children Johnathan, Dylan and Samantha Maurer; step son Christopher Keenan; brother Richard Maurer and his wife Dawn; nieces Heidi, Hannah and Haley Maurer.

Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 AM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford (Franconia Twp. ), where the family will greet guests from 9:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will be private.
