Ray Maxwell’s Obituary MARION, VA Ray Maxwell Brown, Sr. age 88 passed away on Thursday November 29, 2018 at the Carrington Place in Rural Retreat, VA. Ray was born in Grant, WV to the late Charles & Mary Pearl Brown. He is also preceded in death by his wife Shirley Woods Brown; two sons John Franklin Gross, and Ray M. Brown, Jr., and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his three daughters Jo Ann Woods & fiancé James Sabastian, Kathy Poole, and Sherry Testerman & husband Jason; grandchildren Angel Battaglia, Sunshine Gross, Destiny Langley, John Gross, Jr., Stephanie Miller, Stacy Kegley, Sonya Woods, Natasha Poole, Jessica Poole, Jason Testerman, Jessica Testerman, and Lane Brown; and several great grandchildren and other loving family also survive. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at 592 Adwolfe Rd. Marion, VA, from 4:00-6:00PM on Monday December 3, 2018.
