Evans, 53, of Gould City, died Friday morning February 8, 2019 at his residence. Born January 31, 1966 in Greenock, Scotland, United Kingdom, son of Richard V. & Jean (McGregor Paton) Evans, Richard was a graduate of Bridgeport High School. While residing in Bridgeport, he was employed B & B Machine and Buggy Bath.

Richard moved to Three Rivers and was employed with Lasco Bath Ware. A resident of Gould City for over 15 years, Richard was employed at Superior Truss in Seney until his retirement. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, riding his ATV and snowmobile and crossword puzzles.

Richard is preceded in death by his sister Alison Evans. Survivors include his parents, Richard and Jean, of Gould City; daughter Britney McInnis of Bridgeport; sister Valerie Gemmell of Reese; several nieces and nephews; his pet cats Waddles, Black Jack and Zipette. Per request, cremation services were accorded with no local services scheduled.
