Ronald Mark Hass June 05, 1954 – January 15, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Ronald “Ron” Hass, age 64, of Caro, MI, formerly of Marlette, MI passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, MI. He was born June 5, 1954 in Bad Axe, MI son of Fredrick and Elaine (Dunlap) Hass. Ron graduated from Marlette High School with the Class of 1972.

He married Sheila Svoboda April 21, 2013. Ron was the owner of Thumb Field Services and a foreman and machinist at Special Mold Engineering in Rochester Hills, MI. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Ron was hardworking and loved spoiling his wife. He was a devoted Detroit Lions, Tigers and Michigan State Spartans fan and enjoyed traveling on road trips around Michigan. At Christmas time he delivered the Christmas spirit to all.

Ron is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sheila; three daughters, Marlana (Edward) Swindell, Jodi (Edward) Friend and Jeanette (Ron) Yaroch; 14 grandchildren, Dean Hass, Zanon and Travis Ross, Curtis Bowlsby, Jack Swindell, Rianna McConnell, Kyle Franzel, River Ramsey, Doug and Justin Yaroch, Chelsea (Todd) Dant, Katie Traut (Josh Coll), April (Adam) Komienski and Alex Schlaud; two great grandchildren, Ryder Dant and Evee Roegner; his mother, Elaine Hass; two brothers, Donald and Larry Hass; one sister, Betty (Randy) Opperman; several aunts, nieces and nephews; and loving friends that became family. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Donna Hass; and father, Fredrick Hass. The family will receive friends from 2 – 8 PM Friday, January 18, 2019 at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette and 10 AM until time of the service Saturday at the church.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 19, 2019 at St. Paul Lutheran Church 503 South State St., Caro, MI with Pastor Cameron Steele officiating. Burial will be at 12 PM Monday, January 21, 2019 at Marlette Cemetery, Marlette, MI. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
