Silvino Valdez, 67, resident of Santa Maria, CA was called home to the Lord on June 25, 2018. Silvino was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on June 20th, 1951. He moved to California when he was 16 years old to pursue a better future.

He was a hard working man who worked in various jobs, but his favorite one was working for Blacklake Golf Resort. Silvino is survived by his daughters Naomi Flores, Maria Valdez, Maribel Valdez, and son Gustavo Valdez; wife Bertha Carrasco. Viewing will be held July 2 at 9:00 a.m at St. John Neumann Church in Santa Maria. Followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be right after the funeral mass at the Santa Maria Cemetery followed by a reception at MARAMONTE COMMUNITY CENTER 620 E. SUNRISE DR.
