Obituary for Thomas Berube Thomas James Berube (Tom) age 61 of Brighton, formerly Detroit, passed suddenly on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. Born on September 23, 1956, Tom was a lover of sports, trivia, board games as well as cards and puzzles and trips to the casino along with spending time with his loving family. His infectious laugh made everyone around him smile and his inquisitive nature encouraged others to think and be challenged.

Beloved son of Arthur and Velisha (Grigg) Berube, dear brother of David (Denise), Cheryl (Tom), Barbara and Cathy (Greg) and is preceded in death by his brother Arthur (2015). Tom is survived by his son Michael (Sarah) Kratz and their children Brooke and Trent and his daughter Jennifer Kratz and her daughter Jaydah and will be missed by his many nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Thomas spent nearly 20 years with the love of his life, Sandra (Sandie) Battle, until her passing in 2011.
