Life Story for Timothy “Tim” Goodwin Water Valley—Timothy Wayne “Tim” Goodwin, 64, passed away peacefully at Yalobusha Nursing Home in Water Valley on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Born November 15, 1954 in Memphis, he was the son of the late Harold Wayne Goodwin and the late Mary Nell Lee. He attended Water Valley High School, and was of Baptist faith.

He was also retired from Action Industries after many years of service. Tim was an outdoorsman. Anything from fishing to going to the lake, he just loved to be outside.

He also loved hanging out with his nieces and nephews. His family joked that he loved bossing people around, but knew that he loved them very much. To them he was a gentle giant.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will remain in their hearts forever. Pryor Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Goodwin family. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018, at 12:00 noon at Pryor Funeral Home.

There will also be a visitation on Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at the funeral home. Spencer Lee will be officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Byars, Buck Lee, Justin Pinkley, Steve Griffin, Dan Duke, and J.D. Duke. David Strickland will serve as honorary pallbearer. He leaves behind his sister, Becky Barnette of Oxford; his brother, Mark Lee and his wife Gail of Derma; two nieces, Bridgette Barnette and Sondra Welch; two nephews, Timothy Lewis Goodwin and Dan Duke; four great-nieces, Deslyn, Emily, Ava, and Madison; and four great-nephews, J.D., Jaylen, Tyler, and Keifer.
