Obituary of Virginia Laughton Virginia K. Laughton, 97, of the Heritage Village Schwab Retirement Campus in Gerry passed away Thursday (March 22, 2018) in her home. She was born April 22, 1920 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of the late Harold and Mary Herr Weber. Virginia attended vocational schools and graduated school in Buffalo, and in earlier years was employed in the Town of Tonawanda School District.

She was a member of the senior center of Tonawanda, including the YMCA of Tonawanda, and attended Church of Nativity. She is survived by her son Frank (Carolyn) Laughton of San Diego, CA; two daughters Lynn (Joseph) Bellomo of Jamestown, Cynthia (Harold) Boughton of Indianapolis, Indiana; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Laughton whom she married April 12, 1941 in Alabama and who died February 8, 1999.

A Celebration of Life will be held April 14, 2018. The service will begin at 11:00 am at Schwab Manor of the Heritage Village Retirement Campus, 4600 Route 60, Gerry, NY. Memorials may be donated to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Ave.
