Life Story for Wilma Doles Wilma Doles, 94, entered into her Heavenly home on Monday, April 9, 2018, from Baptist Nursing Home in Calhoun City. Born July 27, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Frank Walls and the late Irene Stepp. She was a member of Grace Southern Baptist Church, and retired from Pennaco Hosiery in Grenada.

Wilma loved to garden, and was always known to be a hard worker. Those who knew her will always remember how she loved her chickens. She kept the whole neighborhood supplied with eggs.

She was a very kind and loving woman, and her memory will be cherished forever in the hearts of her family and friends Pryor Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at 11:00am at Pryor Funeral Home. There will also be a visitation on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home.

Bro. Robert Alexander will be officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Big Creek.

Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Harrison, David Harrison, Jeff Harrison, Jonathan Harrison, Nick Doles, and Easton Doles. She leaves behind a son, Thomas (Nancy) Doles, Calhoun City; daughter, Dottie Sue (Lee) Harrison, Gore Springs; sister, Mary Agnes Walls, Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Nick (Angela) Doles, Penny (Kirk) Nichols, Dana Wells, all of Calhoun City, David Harrison, Paul (Christy) Harrison, and Jeff (Casey) Harrison all of Gore Springs, Amanda Sue Fizer, Birmingham, AL; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Doles, Easton Doles, Gunner Nichols, Rainer Nichols, Skylar Nichols, Amber Wells, and John Bryson Wells, all of Calhoun City, Drew (Quin) Howard, Brandon, MS; Ely Fizer and Isabelle Fizer both of Birmingham, AL; Lane (Andrew) Landreth, Vardaman; Wyatt Harrison and Hays Harrison, both of Gore Springs; Jonathan (Katie) Harrison, Senatobia; Jake Harrison, Gore Springs , Anna (Nick) Gillespie, Pontotoc; Katlyn (Anthony) Henson, Holcomb; she was also blessed with 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clerance Doles; sisters, Jennette Malone, Opal Gillon, Ella B. Collums, and brothers, Harold Walls, Wayne Walls, Nelson Walls, O.C. Walls, Joe Walls, Duell Walls, and Raymond Walls.
