Ylli Selenica April 27, 1929 – January 26, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences OAKVILLE YLLI SELENICA “Loving husband, father and grandfather” Ylli Selenica age 89 of Oakville passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Watertown Convalarium. He was the beloved husband of Mentare (Haxhillari) Selenica. Ylli was born April 27, 1929 in Tirana, Albania, a son of the late Teki and Hilmije (Zavalani) Selenica and came to the United States in 2005.

Ylli was employed as a chemical engineer having worked in the porcelain industry for over 40 years. Besides his loving wife of 55 years of Oakville, he leaves his sons Floriel and Mirand Selenica and his wife Sonja, all of Oakville, his grandchildren Amy and Aaron Selenica. He was predeceased by a brother Petrit Selenica MD and two sisters Dashuri Rusi and Jeta Keci.

Arrangements: Funeral services for Ylli will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Chase Parkway, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CY 06708. Burial will be private. Calling hours Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 12:30.
