Denise Marie Lee October 24, 1958 – January 19, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book HARWINTON Denise Marie Lee “Loving Mother, Daughter & Sister” Denise Marie Lee, 60, of Harwinton, entered into the gates of heaven on the evening of January 19, 2019, in the comfort of her mother’s home in Litchfield surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle fighting cancer. Denise was born in Waterbury on October 24, 1958, daughter of the late Willard J. Lee Sr. and Nancy M. (Esposito) Lee of Litchfield. She graduated from Kennedy High School and worked as a CNA for several years as well as an associate at Home Depot.

Denise loved and enjoyed many trips to the beach in Rhode Island, loved outdoor summer fairs and taking rides with her partner Jesse on his Harley to enjoy watching the beautiful sunsets. She also loved decorating her home, planting flowers in the garden, cooking good Italian meals, shopping and taking funny pictures. She loved Sunshine and the Sunflower, her favorite flower which represents hope and happiness.

Besides her mother Nancy, Denise leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Kylie Graham of Kittery, ME, her partner, Jesse Sprague of Harwinton and his son Sam Sprague, her siblings; Brenda Jervis and her husband Robert of Waterbury, Willard Lee Jr. of Litchfield and Jeffrey Lee and his wife Sherri of Oakville. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends. She was well loved by many people and always brought her smile to brighten up a room.

She was always the social butterfly at any event. Most of all, we will treasure her beautiful memories, the good laughs and the time together that was spent. She will be in our hearts forever.

Arrangements: Friends and family are invited to gather on Thursday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial, The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
