Joseph A. Fucito December 05, 1923 – January 11, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists View/Sign Guest Book WATERBURY JOSEPH A. FUCITO “Loving father and grandfather” Joseph A. Fucito age 95 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his children on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford. He was the widow of Ida (Tulino) Fucito. Joseph was born December 5, 1923 in Old Forge, PA, a son of the late Daniel and Carmella (Migliacci) Fucito.

He graduated from Old Forge High School and moved to Waterbury in 1945. Prior to his retirement, Joseph worked as a foreman of the General Stores in the purchasing Department for Scovill and Century Brass for over 40 years. He was an officer in the Knights of Columbus in Waterbury, was an avid bowler and loved playing setback.

He leaves his son Louis Fucito, daughter Cynthia Veneziano, granddaughter Andrea Veneziano, sister in law Aldia Fucito and brother in law George Baylis and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Ross Fucito, Theresa Danna, Concetta Kuzmenko, Dominick Fucito and Carmella Baylis. Arrangements: Funeral Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 8 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway to Saints Peter and Paul Church to Celebrate Mass at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
