Obituary Service Details Mary A. (Genua) Cipriano-Capone, 85, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 24, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waterbury, CT, on January 20, 1934, the daughter of the late Anthony and Philomena (Sivilla) Genua. Mary graduated from Wilby High School in 1951.

She worked at the Bank of America, until her retirement. She was also a wonderful homemaker who truly enjoyed spending time with her family. Mary was a Loving Mother and Friend.

She will be Greatly Missed. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: Daughter, Audrey A. Cipriano and partner, Cindy Nardi, Son, George R. Cipriano II, whom she made her home with, Daughter, Sandra M. Cipriano and wife, Marlene Leja, Goddaughter, Dr. Joanne D’Angelo and her husband, James Petrauskas, and close family friend, Margaret Pizzuto. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husbands, George R. Cipriano, and Leonard Capone.
