Jane Rapuano March 16, 1941 – February 23, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book WATERTOWN JANE RAPUANO “Loving mother, nonni and aunt” Jane Rapuano age 77, of Watertown passed away peacefully on February 23, 2019 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Jane was born March 16, 1941 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Vincent and Virginia (Santulli) Marano. She was a graduate of Croft High School and attended Shenandoah University in VA.

Prior to her retirement in 2005, Jane worked as a cash department head at Stop & Shop. Preceding her career at Stop & Shop, she worked at Saint Raphael Hospital in New Haven. She leaves her son Donald Rapuano Jr. and his wife Darcie of Torrington, two grandchildren, Scott and Alex Rapuano both of Torrington, several nieces and nephews including her nieces Deborah Dunn and her husband James of Southington, Christine Wilson and her companion Scott Tracy of Plymouth, Erin Houlihan her husband Tom and their son Cooper of Southington.

She was predeceased by a brother Anthony Marano and three sisters Mary Marano, Edith Tomasello and Anne Champagne. Arrangements: Funeral Mass Thursday, February 28, 2018 at 10 a.m. directly at Saint John Paul the Great Parish- Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main Street, Torrington, CT 06790. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury.
