Meddaugh, age 93, of Sandusky passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his home. Bruce was born April 27, 1925 in Croswell to the late Carl and Esther (Westbrook) Meddaugh. He graduated from Croswell High School with the class of 1943.

Bruce served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He married Donna McWilliams on August 13, 1949 in Sandusky. Bruce worked for Michigan Bell as a plant engineer for 36 years, retiring in 1982.

He was a member, Deacon, and Elder at Sandusky Presbyterian Church. Bruce was a past President of the Lions Club, Chairman of the local Boy Scouts and a member of the American Legion Post #369. Bruce and Donna enjoyed traveling with family all over the United States and spending 35 winters in Zephyrhills, Florida.

He also liked to garden, hunt, paint, golf and play cards with his friends. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Donna Meddaugh; three children, Lona (Glenn) Loding of Sandusky, Eric Meddaugh of Arizona, and Dawn Grabitz of Sandusky; five grandchildren, Nicole (Steve) Wroblewski, Michelle Loding (Dan Eschenburg), Danielle (Jeremy) Korth, Abby Manthey and Tyler Grabitz; four great-grandchildren, Olivia Loding, Stevie and Avery Wroblewski and Wyatt Korth; one sister, Luella Brabyn; and many nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by one brother, Eldon Meddaugh; one sister, Mary Fogelsong; one daughter-in-law, Rilla Meddaugh; and brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Margaret McWilliams.

The Family will receive visitors from 10 AM until the time of service Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Sandusky Presbyterian Church. A Memorial Service will be held on 11 AM Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Sandusky Presbyterian Church with Pastor Katja Gruening officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #369.

A Private Family Burial will occur at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Sandusky. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sandusky Presbyterian Church, McLaren Hospice or the American Legion Post #369. Friends may share an online condolence at www.
