Janice was born January 18, 1941 in Utica to the late Elton and Dorothy (Sumner) Witt. She married Lyle A. Rosso on January 2, 1960 in Utica.

Janice was a homemaker and raised two children. She enjoyed gardening but most of all loved taking care of her family and her household. Janice is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Lyle A. Rosso; two children, Kimberly (James) McDonough and Kristie (David) Lee; five grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Groat, James (Ashley) McDonough, Tommy, Cody and Kyle Elling; two great-grandchildren, Leyna Elling and Aurora Groat; one brother, Gary (Michelle) Witt; and little sister, Marge.

She was preceded in death by one brother, John Witt; and one sister, Mary Cargill. No services are planned at this time. Friends may share an online condolence at www.
