Obituary for Cecile Faulk Cecile Dora Hurst Faulk was born on July 30, 1944 in New Orleans, LA and passed away peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2018. Daughter of the late Ebenezer and Geneva Hurst. She leaves to cherish her memories, 6 sons, Kinzie, Ebenezer, Raymond, Rene (Samantha), Marshall Faulk and Joseph Hurst; 1 sister, Irma McElveen.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Nicols; 1 son, Frederick Faulk; 4 brothers, Warren Hurst, Leroy Hurst, Harry Hurst and Bernard Hurst and 1 grandson, Teron Jelani Crawford. She also leaves to cherish her memories, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family, pastors, officers and members of Abundant Life Tabernacle are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Abundant Life Tabernacle, 1701 Franklin Ave.

on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm. Interment: Private.
