Obituary for Clayton “Clay” Adam Porter Clayton “Clay” Adam Porter, 20, of Seneca, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018, at his home. A native of Oconee County, SC, Clay was the son of Christy Wallace Hubbard and husband David G. Hubbard. He graduated from West-Oak High School and was currently a student at Greenville Technical College majoring in Construction Science.

Clay worked at Clemson 4-Wheel Center and was an avid hunter who loved the outdoors. He loved everyone, especially his friends and family and would give the shirt off his back to anyone. Clay was his brother’s best friend and will always be remembered for his laughter, smile, and his generous and kind nature.

In addition to his parents, Clay is survived by his brother: Ike Porter of the home; grandparents: Bob and Cathy Wallace of Seneca, SC; aunt and uncle: Tabitha and James Bowen of Westminster, SC; cousins: Bobby and Nikki Bowen of Westminster, SC; and girlfriend of two years: Jenny Roach of Westminster, SC. Clay was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Lush and Opal Craig. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM, Tuesday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. Please come as you are, Clay loved everyone for who they were, not for the clothes on their back. Memorials may be made to the Clayton Adam Porter Scholarship for High School Seniors, c/o Community First Bank, 3685 Blue Ridge Blvd.
