Obituary for Mrs. Joyce Elizabeth Keaton Joyce Elizabeth Keaton, 75, wife of the late Wayne Aldoph Keaton, of 6080 Keowee School Road, Seneca, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018, at AnMed Health Medical Center. A native of Oconee County, SC, Mrs. Keaton was the daughter of the late Randolph Courtney and Bessie Lee O’Kelley. She retired as a quality control manager from LaFrance Industries.

Mrs. Keaton attended New Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and loved spoiling her grandkids. Mrs. Keaton is survived by her sons: Harvey Keaton (Trisha) of Mountain Rest, SC and Rickey Keaton (Beth) of Walhalla, SC; daughter: Tammey L. Keaton of Athens, GA; sisters: Nita Perry (Fred) of Seneca, SC and Sandy Thornton of Seneca, SC; brother-in-law: Lutz Gruse of Florida; grandchildren: Bry, Nic, Haley, Ben, Chelsea, Chris, Ryan and Samantha; and great-grandchildren: Isaak, Hayne, Wyatt, Paisley and Bentley.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Keaton was preceded in death by her brother: R.L. Jones; sisters: Barbara Gruse and Pat Price; and brother-in-law: Richard Price. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with visitation to follow. Flowers are accepted or the family encourages that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Miles Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
