Obituary for Mr. Lewis Lee Leopard Lewis Lee Leopard, 68, husband of Julia Owens Leopard, of 204 Malinda Street, Walhalla, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at UNC REX Healthcare surrounded by his family. A native of Oconee County, Mr. Leopard was the son of Charlie L. and Marzelle Phillips Leopard. He retired from Duke Energy after 42 years as a project manager.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, having served for 27 years before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Mr. Leopard attended St. Luke United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Keowee Anglers Club and the Newcomer Club of the Foothills. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, working in the yard and anything outdoors.

Mr. Leopard was an avid Clemson Tigers fan and spending time with his family and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Mr. Leopard is survived by his daughters: JuLee Colner (David) of Raleigh, NC and Cody Leopard (Chauncey Mann) of Burlington, NC; brother: Keith Leopard of Walhalla, SC; sister: Linda Grimes of West Union, SC; grandchildren: Chloe Leopard and Henry Colner; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at St. Luke United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at St. Luke United Methodist Church, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the South Carolina Wildlife Federation, 215 Pickens Street, Columbia, SC 29205 or St. Luke United Methodist Church Food Pantry, PO Box 339, Walhalla, SC 29691. The family will be at the home.
